Jumptown Big Band will be performing for an autumn dance at Cerimon House in NE Portland on Sunday October 23rd 1:30pm to 4:00pm. It will be an amazing afternoon of swing, foxtrot, waltz, cha-cha, and more at a fantastic cultural event venue in the vibrant Alberta District. The entire room will be available for dancing with refreshments available in the adjacent room for your social enjoyment.
This will be a special opportunity to hear some of the most talented musicians in the Portland area performing the well known dance band standards of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Benny Goodman along with classic hits rarely performed from the libraries of Les Brown, Ted Heath, and Henry Mancini. This is dance band music that was created for dancers.
