Jumptown Big Band will be performing at the PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center Foundation’s Tapestry of Care Fundraising Gala on Saturday, December 13, 2025 starting at 6pm at the Cowlitz Regional Conference Center in Longview, Washington. This year's theme, Tapestry of Care, honors the Longview community and their incredible commitment to PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center. Since 2002, the Foundation's signature event has raised more than $5 million in support of excellent care in Cowlitz County. This event will feature music during cocktails, dinner, and silent auctions. An exciting live auction follows. We will provide music for mingling and dancing to close the evening. At this time the event is sold out, but you can add your name to the waiting list in case seats become available. You can also donate directly to the organization on the Foundation’s website.

Jumptown Big Band presents our annual "Fall Swing Dance" Saturday October 11, 2025 at the Multnomah Arts Center Auditorium. This venue has a large dance floor and plenty of parking. Beginner dance lesson starts at 7:00pm with live music from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Our theme this year is “The Sounds of Sinatra.” We will feature both vocal and instrumental music inspired by songs recorded by Frank Sinatra. A half-hour beginner dance lesson will be provided by professional dance instructor Mindy Barnhart of Stumptown Dance to allow new swing dancers the opportunity to learn some steps and perhaps provide seasoned dancers with a brush up on the basics. We hope you can join us for what will be a memorable evening of music and dance. Tickets $25 at the door. Jumptown Big Band will be performing at the Edúcate Ya 25th Anniversary Fundraising Gala on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Norse Hall in Portland. This event will feature dinner, no-host bar, silent auctions, and dancing. The event begins with a reception starting at 5:30pm, dinner and program at 6:30pm, and dancing 7:00pm to 10:00pm. The mission of Edúcate Ya is to facilitate multi-cultural exchange and address the integration challenges faced by Latinxs in Oregon through bilingual health, leadership, and education programs. Jumptown Big Band will be performing an outdoor concert for the Riverbend Live concert series in Riverbend Park in Winston, Oregon on Friday August 2nd starting at 7:00pm. This concert is free and open to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. We will be performing an eclectic variety of big band and swing arrangements that should be of interest to an audience of all musical tastes. Claudia Knauer will be singing some fantastic vocals from the Great American Songbook. We are also once again teaming up with the amazing Newport Nightingales who will be performing three-part vocal harmony tunes in the style of the Andrews Sisters and the Boswell Sisters. Join us for this exciting summer concert in what has been a tradition in Winston for over 25 years.

Ring in the new year with an exciting evening of swing dancing! Jumptown Big Band has been requested to perform for a vintage 1940's themed New Year’s Eve Hangar Dance at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum on December 31st sponsored by Got Your Six Aviation. Doors open at 7:00pm to guests and the midnight champagne toast will be passed around for the 12:00 countdown. Jumptown Big Band performs live music under the wings of the Spruce Goose for your dancing and listening enjoyment from 8:00pm to midnight. Event ends at 1:00am. "Friends of Tillamook Air Museum" is sponsoring an 80th Anniversary event all day August 19th for Hanger B at the Naval Air Station Tillamook. The building was originally constructed in 1942 in support of WWII military activities. It was decommissioned in 1948. The building is currently home to the Tillamook Air Museum. Ceremonies, displays, vendors, and music performances will comprise the daytime public activities. A ticketed dinner and dance will take place starting at 6pm with a silent auction and dinner. Food will be provided by Fat Head BBQ. Jumptown Big Band will provide music for 1940's era swing dancing from 8pm to 11pm. Tickets sales ended for this event on August 12th.
